This takes place soon after Jack raped Kayla. Kayla and Jack are still married, and Anjelica doesn't know about the rape. Steve has donated his kidney to Jack and has slipped into a coma.
This is right after Jack is convicted for assault for his rape of Kayla. Kayla just filed for divorce and Jack is fighting it. She goes over to confront him and runs into Anjelica instead
